Arkansas Air National Guard launches last C-130 AMP for final flight

The final C-130 AMP arrives at Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz., to be sent to the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regenaration Group's "Boneyard," Jan. 3, 2018. The aircraft spent more than five years at the 189th Airlift Wing without flying after funding was cut for the AMP program. The AMP was one of five aircraft that made the trip to the Boneyard where the parts will be reused for other aircraft within the C-130 military fleet.
